Unboxing: BTS Global Official Fanclub ARMY Membership — Merch Box #9

My BTS ARMY Global Fanclub Membership Merch Box #9 arrived a couple weeks ago. 

As mentioned previously, the BTS Global Official Fanclub added a Merch Pack Membership option in 2020, which includes four different merch boxes during the membership period on top of the regular Membership perks. The price of this membership (now just called "ARMY Membership") is $150 USD rather than the regular $22. Shipping costs aren't included, so the $150 price tag ends up being closer to $300 (or more, depending on where you live, because DHL likes to commit highway robbery), but each merch box includes exclusive membership items that you cannot get otherwise. Merch Box #9 contains two main components: an alarm clock and a set of member photocards. These items come inside a purple box with silver detailing.

The main component of this Merch Box is a classic analog alarm clock. It's silver with a white face, while the hands and numbers are in purple. It does have a button on the back to light up the face of the clock, but is otherwise pretty basic, right? WRONG! If you actually turn on the alarm function, the alarm itself starts with a typical beeping sound and then follows with all the members telling you to wake up. This alarm clock is so much more awesome than I thought it would be.

Of course, a Merch Box wouldn't be complete without photocards. The ones in this set feature selfies of them in outfits from the Permission to Dance: On Stage shows. Overall, Merch Box #9 is the most simple of all the Merch Boxes so far, but to me, one of the most useful. Because let me tell you, when that alarm clock goes off and RM yells, "I'll never let you oversleep!" and then all seven members continue to yell at you to wake up, YOU WILL NOT GO BACK TO BED.
