Friday Five: Big game

Friday, February 5, 2021
This week's Friday Five:
  1. What item in your house recently ceased (or is likely soon to cease) Operation? My old BT21 x Royche Cooky mouse. It wasn't broken, per se, but the scrolling wheel wasn't working smoothly anymore and it was getting really annoying to use. So I ordered a new one.

  2. If someone were to poker 'round in your refrigerator, what item might he or she have questions about? Maybe the four loaves of bread I keep in there. The question is never why I have bread, but why I have so much bread. (I know because both Ying and Ronsee have asked me.) And the answer is always, "I eat a lot of bread, okay?"

  3. What's in your backPac, Man? I don't have a backpack, but in my BTS x Fila tote bag (which I use as my purse), I keep my wallet, my keys, a bottle of hand sanitizer, a Ziploc bag with extra disposable face masks, anti-bacterial hand wipes, a little pack of lemon-scented paper soap, a tin of Excel mints, a pen, a pill box with extra diabetic medication, and a tube of Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Rosé.

  4. When did you last run into an old Flame? Hmm... I didn't run into him, but I did see one of my exes at a store sometime last summer. I just walked to the other side of the store to shop. Nothing more awkward than bumping into someone you dumped because he got so annoyingly clingy that you couldn't even stand his voice anymore.

  5. With what object are you frequently playing Hide-and-Seek? Batteries. Like, I know I have them, but when I'm actually looking for them, I never know where I put them.

  1. I was the same way with batteries, so I ended up buying a battery organizer to screw into a closet for storage. It's ugly, but at least I know where they are and what sizes I need. Happy weekend!

    1. That's smart! I'm now using a cutlery tray for them until I figure something else out, lol. Thanks for commenting!

  2. I was surprised you actually use some of that BTS stuff and don't just keep it on a shelf behind glass. Then I did a Google image search and realized it's not a BTS thing. Then I looked at the website and said oh wait, yes it is. I'm so confused! But don't tell me -- I don't think I want to know!

    1. LOL! I'm guessing you're referring to BT21. It's a line of characters that was created by BTS in collaboration with Line Friends (it's like the Korean version of Sanrio). BT21 was supposed to be limited edition, but it was so successful that Line Friends kept it. Pretty sure it out-sells their original characters now.

And, listen, 95% of my BTS stuff is just for display but I use my mugs! And blankets! And mouse pads!
