Hope everyone's been having a good new year so far! I spent 12 hours on New Year's Day playing The Sims 4. And then I had work yesterday, and went to the McDonald's drive-thru with Ying at midnight (to continue our Saturday night tradition, of course). And I have today and tomorrow off as usual. I'm still going through all the packages that arrived just before New Year's because I have been good about only opening one per day. Today's package was a consolidated box from Weverse Shop via Korgou, and thus I found BTS' BE Deluxe Version albums that I had originally pre-ordered for me and Ying (you know, before I went ahead and pre-ordered another one from Amazon because I was too impatient to wait for this shipment), as well as the limited edition "Dynamite" vinyls that we had ordered last August (which I honestly forgot about).

As collectors, Ying and I were devastated when the original release of the "Dynamite" vinyls were sold out within minutes. They were only available for the US at the time, so we made do with the cassettes instead, which I snatched up just in time 'cause they were sold out shortly after the vinyls. But then Weverse Shop made them available for sale globally about a month later, so I pre-ordered a copy for the both of us. Neither of us will ever play them on an actual record player, mind you, but they're collector's items and this song broke a multitude of records and made music history (little did we know that the performance for "Dynamite" would earn BTS a Grammy nomination many months later). So we had to have them. Even if the shipping and duties cost twice the amount of the actual vinyls.
This BE album came with the exclusive pre-order gift from Weverse Shop. It's a large lined notepad with the BE logo on the front. When you open it, the first page is a vellum sheet with some of the song lyrics from the album handwritten by the members. And after that, there are pages of blank lined paper with the BTS logo in the centre. Good thing I flipped through it, though, because I found a large postcard photo of the boys in there, too. Frankly, I would've preferred a large rolled up poster of this image, but at least notepads are useful. And this one is cute.
