I hadn't done my nails in nearly a month and they looked ATROCIOUS. (As you can see in the above photo on the left.) I don't think I have ever let them get this bad in the past nine years because MAC was fairly strict on makeup, hair, and nails being presentable at all times. I guess because I didn't have work for two months, I just didn't care? (I do my own nails, so I really have no one to blame but myself.) Quite frankly, I'm not sure why I didn't just take off my nail polish because it looks like half of it was eaten off. Anyway, I knew I had to do them today since I won't have another day off until Saturday. So I picked my favourite nail polish of all time: Cirque Color's Rhapsody in Blue. There is just something about this particular shade of blue that makes me inexplicably happy.
