This week's Friday Five:
- What was the last thing you spilled? A bit of soup I was transferring from its styrofoam takeout container to a real bowl at dinner. (I'm not usually this extra, but I needed to microwave it because it had been sitting out for an hour.)
- What was the last thing you broke? My nail. I was breaking down cardboard boxes at work.
- What was the last thing you dented? My nail polish. (Read: Question #2.) So, basically, I need to do my nails ASAP.
- What was the last thing you tore? A hangnail. (Wow, are you sensing a theme here?)
- What was the last thing you stumbled over? A cardboard box at work. This is why I decided to break them down. Which lead to breaking my nail and denting my nail polish. It's been a rough day.
Ha. Your #5 answer made me laugh aloud. And hey, transferring your food from a takeout container to a real dish is not extra. It's just making it more of an actual meal. I'm saying this defensively because I do it all the time. :) I will use the plastic utensils, though.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, same! I like to plate my takeout food nicer, too, 'cause we eat with our eyes first. Food just tastes better if it looks good. :P
DeleteDepending on what I'm eating, I prefer using non-plastic utensils. Especially knives. Plastic knives are for spreading condiments, not cutting meat. :)
