A fancy version of hot pot for dinner with the fam tonight at Clay Pot King! Never tried anything like this before, but it's actually really, really tasty. Lots of different types of hot pots (not the kind where you cook your own food; these are more like "stews," where each pot has a different meat or vegetable and various other ingredients in a specific gravy-like broth) for all different tastes. My dad was hell-bent on getting lobster, so who was I to argue? To round out our meal, salt and pepper deep-fried chicken cartilage to start, a pot of baby cabbage with dried scallops, and a pot of classic braised beef noodles (that had surprisingly super-tender beef, better than most beef noodle places I've been to).
And now, time to watch Game 5 of the NBA Finals!
