My friend Maegan just came back from Italy a couple days ago and got me this lovely lipstick from a brand called KIKO Milano, which she described as "a cross between MAC and NYX, but like, Italian." She was so obsessed with this brand that she stopped by multiple KIKO stores in Italy and apparently bought a truckload of stuff. When she swatched this lipstick, she said she bought one for herself and one for me because she knew I would be in love with this formula, and also because this shade — 04 Rosy Mauve — "is such a Denise colour!" And truly, she knows me well. It's a light-medium pinkish nude that reminds me of a cross between MAC Viva Glam II and Modesty. And she was right, the formula is everything I love in a lipstick. It glides on smooth and creamy and has a nice sheen, but has full colour coverage and is somehow moisturizing and long-wearing at the same time (seriously, I drank a cup of coffee while wearing this lipstick and it didn't come off at all). Only problem is, she got me all excited about this lipstick and we can't even get this brand here.
