As any ARMY will know, it's comeback season, which means anything can be released at midnight KST for the next two weeks. Indulgence. Luxury. Nonchalance. This concept shows a cool, almost blasé attitude with unabashedly gender neutral outfits that are almost in-your-face with their flashy accessories and bright jewel-toned fabrics. I'm not going to get into the symbolism of fruit here because that would bring us back to biblical times, but I will say that it's more telling than all the "OMG BTS INVENTED HEALTH" tweets that were all over my timeline. (Honestly, my first thought was, "THOSE ARE SO HIGH IN GLUCOSE! I AM SO JEALOUS.") I do think the specific choices of grapes and strawberries, as with the blatant use of Gucci clothing and pearls and massive gems, are just to further the concept of decadence as well as adding extra splashes of colour. Again, to bring it back to the theme of persona? I think it kinda goes without saying what they were going for here. And I'm kinda living for it.
