It is currently 5:06 AM and I just finished watching BTS' new title track, "Boy with Luv," featuring Halsey. I literally set my alarm to wake up at 5:00 AM for the sole purpose of watching this music video at the moment of release. (I am telling you, I am a diligent ARMY.) I thought Halsey was going to have a whole verse to herself, but I actually really like that they incorporated her voice so organically. The video is fun and colourful and I love the homage to Singing in the Rain. All the boys are beautiful, of course, and the new choreo is adorable and fantastically high-energy. This is going to be really, really fun to watch live. As expected, it is a bop — like, the boppiest of bops. Legit, this song, especially the "Oh my my my" part, might actually be in my head for all of eternity. This is without a doubt going to be their biggest radio single in North America, and it's well-deserved.
Okay, now that I've watched the video and downloaded Map of the Soul: Persona on Apple Music, I'm going to go back to bed. I have to get up again in a couple hours. I swear to you, I'll only ever do this for BTS.
