This week's Monday Poll:
- Is there any takeout place or coffee shop where folks usually/frequently mess up your name? Honestly, Starbucks is the only place I can think of around here that writes down your name on your drink, and I only go there like, four times a year. But I do remember one time when I ordered a drink at Starbucks where they spelled my name as "Denice" instead of "Denise." (Which totally reminds me of this video, LOL!) I forgave them, though, since they're both legitimate ways of spelling the name. Generally, though, people spell my name correctly the first time around. Maybe Canadian Starbucks employees are just really good spellers.
- Something you need to do today? I need to buy a pair of heels and a non-black top for my brother's wedding next week.
- You're out running errands one morning when you realize — OH, NO! — that you must have lost or forgotten your phone at home. What do you do? Honestly, I wouldn't get past my driveway if I realized I left my phone in the house because I have to drive with music on; the first thing I do when I get in my car is plug my auxiliary cord into my iPhone to turn on my music through iTunes. But let's say in this hypothetical world, I lost or forgot my phone, I'd drive back home to see if it's there first. If it's not there, I'd try to track it through Find My iPhone, and then retrace my steps of every place I went to that day.
