Sunday Video Love: Islands

The xx's new album is good but quite a lot mellower, so it makes me really appreciate the happier, more upbeat sound of their self-titled album, which I didn't get into until recently. I'd heard this song a couple years ago, but didn't become obsessed with it until now. (My obsession with this band started with listening to a remix of the Gorillaz' version of their song, Crystalised, which is also phenomenal.) Seriously, I re-play this song about ten times a day. So, I thought I'd share my most recent obsession with you. The lyrics are bittersweet and the sentiment is a bit depressing (the dance routine gets sadder as the video goes on)... but it's super-catchy!
