Greetings from Osaka! We took the Shinkansen from Tokyo in the late morning, but we didn't arrive at our hotel until about 3:00PM because we accidentally took the Kodama train instead of the Hikari (which makes about half the amount of stops as the Kodama), so basically our commute ended up taking four hours instead of three. But we only have 2 full days in Osaka, so we were hell-bent on going to Kuromon Market before they closed for the evening. A lot of the stalls were already closed by the time we got there at 4:00PM, but we did manage to get a lot of good eats in.

This is one of those tourist areas that is actually worth the hype. I can't even imagine how crazy it gets earlier in the day because we were there around the end of the day (the whole market close at 6:00PM) and we still had to wait in line at some of the stalls. But if you love food and you're in Osaka, Kuromon Market is a must-visit.
