You know why birthday week is the best? Because I don't feel guilty for eating whatever the hell I want all week. Like tonight's Korean food feast with my co-workers at Daldongnae, my favourite Korean BBQ restaurant:

After the most dismal Korean food I've ever had at Nakwon a few weeks ago, this meal was the ultimate Korean food redemption. Aside from having some of the best Korean BBQ in all of the Greater Toronto Area, they also happen to make my favourite seafood pajeon of all time. It is just perfection — the ideal ratio of seafood to vegetables to batter, the thickness, the flavours, the golden crispy exterior — and it's cheaper than all the other Korean restaurants in the area, too. Not only was the food phenomenal, but the service is amazing, too. Super attentive, super nice, always offering to refill our banchan or egg or cheese corn or kimchi.
I have been spoiled with amazing food this week. It's going to be so hard to go back to eating like a plebe...
