Photolog 2021: Day 123 of 365

The best way to spend a gloomy, rainy Monday? Eating Korean rice dogs! Met up with Ying in the late afternoon and drove 20 minutes to get to Chung Chun. Waited another 10 minutes in line outside (yes, even on a Monday in the rain, there is a line-up just to get into the restaurant) and another 15 minutes to actually get our food, but IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT. Especially when the guy told us that we got the last two sausage-tteok rice dogs, which were sold out the last time we went.

We decided to order three each to share. My choices? The Chungchun Original Hotdog with sugar, the Gamsung (Potato) Hotdog with spicy mayo and ketchup, and the Sausage-tteok (Rice Cake) Hotdog with hot sauce and sweet mayo. Ying went with the Ramen Chips Hotdog with sweet mayo, the Chungchun Original Hotdog with spicy mayo, and the Sausage-tteok (Rice Cake) Hotdog with honey butter seasoning. All of them were EXCELLENT. And on that note, we have officially added the Rice Cake dogs to our favourites list.
