Okay y'all. I'm gonna preface this by saying that I usually hate Christmas music. (Working 15 years in retail will do that to you.) But if there's anyone who could totally change my mind, it's BTS. Yes, I am biased because BTS could sing, like, the alphabet song and I'd be impressed. But I did not know how much I needed to hear Jungkook sing "O Holy Night" in a voice so angelic that it could bring world peace, or Yoongi singing "Jingle Bell Rock" with such unexpectedly stunning vocal chops that you'd never believe he's not a lead vocalist (I mean, we caught a glimpse with "Seesaw," but he's always been a rapper through and through), or Jimin singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" so sweetly that anyone would believe in Santa Claus again, or all of them singing "Silent Night" so beautifully that the whole world will sleep in heavenly peace. To top it all off, their whole performance with that sweet little girl is just the most ADORABLE, WHOLESOME THING, EVER, and I DON'T EVEN LIKE CHILDREN.
Lastly, kudos to SBS for uploading these videos literally an hour after it was aired. Like, SBS Gayo Daejeon is still being broadcasted live right now. As in, it's 5:30AM (7:30PM in Korea), and BTS' closing performance hasn't even happened yet. But we can bask in the Christmas spirit of these stages until BTS is back to end the show with a bang.
