These were originally released as limited edition items through the Line Friends Collection site (items released through the Collection site are only available to members for about a week before they are taken down, so it's almost like an online pop-up store — basically, you snooze, you lose). But they were only available as "blind packs," which means it's a random selection so you're not guaranteed to get the character(s) you want. For someone like me, who buys all the BT21 characters as a set or nothing, I didn't bother with the blind packs. I wasn't gonna pay $19.99 USD for each figure if I wasn't guaranteed all seven characters. (Like, how annoying would it be if you ordered seven blind packs and got seven of THE SAME CHARACTER? I'd be so pissed.) But then a month later, Line Friends made these figures available as whole sets (including the hidden item!) in their physical stores in Korea. Which makes me doubly glad that I didn't bother with the blind packs.

Thus, I ordered the Vol. 1 (base camp theme) set from my man Jaewon. And now I need to get Vol. 2 (summer vacation theme) and 3 (concert theme) from him. 'Cause I ultimately decided that if I was gonna do one set, I need to complete the whole collection, you know? So, yeah. Apparently, I am a full-fledged toy collector now.
