My BTS "Lights/Boy With Luv" Japanese singles EP set arrived today! It was actually released a few weeks ago, but I had to wait for the box set to arrive from Seoul. The set was made available on BigHit's shopping app, Weply, for pre-order last month at a very reasonable price ($64.50 USD) but it was only shipping to South Korean addresses. (International fans can, of course, buy the individual versions of this singles album, but the set is only being sold by certain retailers and some of them are going for absurd prices.) Thus, I asked Jaewon if he could order a set for me. All four versions in the set are, despite having the same three Japanese singles on each one, actually different. The first one is the music CD only, which contains "Lights," "Boy With Luv (Japanese ver.)," and "IDOL (Japanese ver.)." Type A has the music CD and a DVD containing the music videos for "Lights" and "IDOL." Type B has the music CD and a DVD containing the Making of the "Lights" music video and the Making of Jacket Photos (basically behind the scenes of the photoshoots for all versions of this singles album). Type C has the music CD and a 36-page photo booklet, which is where all the member photos in this post are from. And of course, the set comes with photocards of all the boys. (I don't know what if it's the styling or the angles or the makeup, but they are looking extra fine in these photoshoots.) The only thing that sucks about the Japanese BTS releases is that there are no subtitles in any of the video content. So I just enjoy their visuals without knowing what they're saying.
