This week's Monday Poll:
- Do you like trying new skin care products, or do you tend to stick to the same routine? I like trying new skincare products; my skin's not particularly sensitive so it doesn't go crazy when I introduce new products into my routine. I get bored if I use the same things over and over again; plus, my skin gets used to whatever skincare I'm using and I don't see the efficacy of the products after a while. However, if I know that there's a specific product that works really well with my skin, I'll go back to it after a while, like Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair. I've also found that everything I've tried from Biotherm's Aquasource range works really well for me, especially the Deep Serum, Hydration Gel, and Everplump Moisturizer. No one really talks about Biotherm, but their products are super-effective and well-priced. I'll always try new things and go back to Biotherm after a year or two.
- When was the last time you had a cat on you? Years and years ago, when I would go over to my cousin's a lot and her cat would climb on top of me when I was sitting. I'm very rarely around cats these days.
- Carrots or cucumbers? I actually like both equally, but I eat more cucumbers than I do carrots because I put them in sandwiches all the time. And I eat a lot of sandwiches.
- How are you with keeping plants alive? I don't keep plants, but my mom asked me to water her plants when she was on a trip this year and I didn't kill any of them...
- Does it feel like fall right now where you live? No, there's a heatwave happening right now. In fact, Sunday was the hottest day of 2017 in Toronto with a temperature of 34°C (that's 93.2°F for those who aren't on the metric system). Today, it's a high of 31°C, and feels like 39°C (102.2°F!) with humidity. Visitors that think Canada is cold all year round are in for a rude awakening.
