I love that MAC and Mariah came out with two amazingly wearable eye palettes for all skintones — whether you're fair or dark, warm or cool, you won't look at either of them and think, "I could never wear that." Every single shadow in this collection is a workhorse shade that can be worn alone or in any combination within either palette to create gorgeous, cohesive looks. Whereas It's Everything leans more cool in general, I'm That Chick You Like is definitely all warm, with golden, bronzy tones (as opposed to orange or red). All four shades here are smooth, pigmented, and blendable; I didn't have any texture or colour pay-off issues (though I will note that Golden Petals Scattering does have some fall-out because of the sparkly finish). Like Mariah's own makeup aesthetic, both palettes are neutral with a healthy dose of shimmer that can be worn from day to night, and despite the fact that the gorgeous packaging and the special edition nature of the collaboration will already be enough grounds for many to buy these, I genuinely think both palettes will work in anyone's arsenal and are entirely worth getting — whether you're a Mariah fan or not.
