Touch My Body is a medium warm copper tan with iridescent golden shimmer. This is a new and limited edition shade. It has a soft, finely-milled texture, and goes on smoothly and evenly. It has medium pigmentation and semi-sheer to semi-opaque buildable colour pay-off. It is lighter and more copper than Gold Deposit Mineralize Skinfinish, darker and more golden than Global Glow Mineralize Skinfinish, darker than Trace Gold Blush, and more golden than Tan Pigment.
This is the first loose powder I've ever seen MAC release in such decadent packaging — the glitter of the packaging seems to sparkle brighter and more iridescent than any of the other products in this collection. It reminds me of those old-school body powders that you'd see on the boudoir of a Hollywood Golden Age actress, with the luxe puff applicator to pat on to shoulders and décolletage for extra glittery glam. Fitting in a collection for Mariah Carey, who is one of the most iconic divas of our generation. This reminds me a lot of MAC's old Golden Bronze Iridescent Powder, which was discontinued about six years ago, and for all I know, it could actually be the same thing. The beauty of this product, like the Iridescent Powders before it, is that you can use it sheer with the puff on the body for a soft glow, with a powder brush on the cheeks for an illuminating blush finisher or sparkly bronzer, or with a smaller tapered brush for a more intense highlight. It looks pretty dark, but on my NC25/30 medium skintone, I can actually use it really nicely as a highlighter — it's not bright on me, but it is very, very glowy and iridescent. It will be an especially stunning highlighter on dark to deep dark skintones. Those who have fair to light complexions will definitely find this too dark to be a face highlighter, but lovely as a cheek colour, bronzer, or shimmering body powder (as this was designed for). In my opinion, this is the star of the Mariah collection and is also the most collectible as there are so few products out there right now that are similar to this.
