This week's Friday Five:
- What's your favourite tomato thing? If we're talking about tomatoes in its original form, I actually like cherry tomatoes raw in a salad (especially with Asian sesame dressing), or tomato slices in a burger. Otherwise, I like tomatoes in pasta sauces.
- What's your favourite celery thing? I'm pretty indifferent to celery. I don't eat it very often, but I don't mind it when I do. There's a Chinese dish with chicken, cashews, and celery that I quite enjoy... though it's more for the chicken and cashews than the celery. Oh, I also quite like celery in tuna or chicken salad. Gives it a nice crunch.
- What's your favourite broccoli thing? I love cooked broccoli in almost any form, but I especially like it in Chinese dishes, like beef and broccoli. I don't love it raw, though.
- What's your favourite eggplant thing? Like broccoli, I enjoy it in most forms, but I especially like it in Chinese dishes, like stuffed eggplant with black bean sauce or eggplant in spicy mince meat sauce.
- What's your favourite spinach thing? I love spinach both raw in salads or cooked in dishes, but nothing beats spinach artichoke dip (the fact that you can't actually taste spinach in the dip is besides the point).
ALL THE VEGGIES!! i love veggies. i think i'd be pretty pleased being 80% vegetarian. i'm getting to about there...

A Beautiful Zen
Weirdly enough, despite my affinity for all things meat (haha, dirty), I am vegetarian most of the time. At least two out of my three meals a day are vegetarian, so I'd say I'm 66.67% vegetarian, lol. But I don't think I could ever become full veggie. I love steaks and burgers wayyyyy too much...
DeleteI looooove veggies. I eat all of these things, raw or cooked :D
ReplyDeleteHaha, me, too. Except for eggplant. Don't think I've ever had eggplant raw!
