Bad Girl Gone Good is a medium-dark muted copper-orange with brown undertones and a subtle sheen in a Satin finish. This is a new and limited edition shade. It has a soft, silky, finely-milled texture, and goes on smoothly and evenly. It has high pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It can be layered and blended out easily. It is similar though slightly darker than Coppertone, similar though slightly darker and more brown than Gingerly, darker and more orange than Sunbasque, and more orange than Eternal Sun Pro Longwear Blush.
The texture of this blush is actually really beautiful and has all the components of what I like in my powder blushes — smooth and finely-milled, good colour pay-off, and really blendable. It works well on all skintones from fair to dark, though those with very fair and cooler undertones may find it looking ruddy due to the orange tone. The finish should appeal to a wide range of people as well, since it's not shimmery but has a very soft, subtle sheen that keeps it from looking too matte on skin. That having been said, the shade itself is incredibly dupeable, even within MAC's permanent range. If you have Coppertone or Gingerly, this shade will be skippable — unless, of course, you're a sucker for limited edition packaging or you're just a huge Rihanna fan.
I stopped by a MAC counter and this was gone gone GONE. I don't think it matters that it's dupable -- the packaging is nice, the shade screams fall weather, and it's LE. LOL
ReplyDeleteLOL! That's the mentality of most of the people who bought it. :P But, yes, after the lipsticks and lip liners, I think this was the next in popularity!
Deletehmm this looks pretty scare in person so i didn't bother to swatch it but now i sort of wish i did. your swatch looks lovely

A Beautiful Zen
Aww, thanks! I find that a lot of shades that look scary in the pan or tube ends up looking way better when swatched on skin. Like, MAC's Rebel lipstick? Looks sooooo dark in the tube. On the lips? Gorgeous darkened magenta and wearable on everybody! :)
DeleteIt's okay, though, this particular blush is very dupeable -- if you like this shade and it's sold out at your local counter, check out Gingerly or Coppertone!
