I have been obsessed with this song for the last couple of months, so I thought I would share it with you. His voice is just... unnngh. I die. This song needs to win a Grammy. (Side note: Does anyone else find it a little distracting when the girl starts doing these weird things with her hands?)

    It is distracting! I always hated when Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera would point up in the air everytime they hit a high note.

    I don't think it's as distracting as this entire clip though. The best is at the 1:40 mark.

      LOL, fair enough, but at least Mariah and Christina only do it when they reach the high notes. This girl here is doing it THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE GODDAMN SONG. Oh, man, it totally distracts me from the awesomeness of the song...

      Her voice is pretty good, though, can't lie. I just... can't. Look. At. Her. IT IS SO DIFFICULT.

      I can't stop watching this video because of her... It's almost like she's either kneading dough or milking a cow. Take your pick.

      LOL, I'm leaning more towards kneading dough, 'cause it doesn't really look like she's pulling any udders or anything. ;)

      AND YES, I got so excited when Blogger announced threaded comments! I first noticed it in action on Liz's blog and then I was like, "WHAT? HOW? WHEN?" So I looked it up and got it installed. ;) I ALMOST switched over to WordPress 'cause I was so sick of Blogger's limitations. But this addition made it a little better. ;)

    I was just talking about this song on Twitter with someone else yesterday! I don't love it and it's sort of bordering on annoying for me, but it could take a sudden swing to the love direction because that's how it works with me. ;) I'm currently obsessed with "A Real Hero" by College from Drive soundtrack.

      Hey, Liz! It's funny, when I first heard this song, I didn't love it, but then the more I listened to it, the more I loved it! I'm also loving the cover of it by Walk Off the Earth and Sarah Blackwood. :) And I just checked out that College song -- love the '80s synthesizers. :)

    OMG, I heard this on the radio yesterday and loved it. And then I thought where did I see this before and realized you had posted about it. His voice is ridiculous, little bit like Sting. I think it's a Los Feliz/Echo Park sort of sound, very chill but hipster geek chic cool.

      Haha, yaaaay. I love this song! But like all good songs, this will end up being over-played on the radio and then played EVERYWHERE (like, public bathrooms, malls, movie theatres, etc.) and then I will so sick of it. :( This makes me sad. I've already heard it at a few different pubs.

      Lol, I'm not even sure what a Los Feliz/Echo Park sound is... :P
