We spent the rest of the afternoon spending time with my brother and playing with my nephew, and we were so exhausted that we decided just to order delivery to my brother's apartment for dinner. When he asked what we wanted to eat, I immediately said, "PIZZA!" Because what's a trip to NYC without getting New York pizza?

Pizza with sausage, roasted peppers, mushrooms, and basil

So we ordered from Patsy's, one of his go-to pizzerias. (Coincidentally, I went to the location in Brooklyn back in March and was obsessed.) Now, our mother, the blasphemer that she is, does not like pepperoni. So we settled for sausage instead, and then added roasted peppers, mushrooms, and some basil for aroma. And while it does not look pretty (it may be one of the least photogenic pizzas I've ever seen, to be honest), it was absolutely DELICIOUS. And the toppings were APLENTY. I was kind of surprised by the amount of toppings, if I'm honest — the crust could barely hold on to everything — but when folded in half, it still had the perfect droop.
