After our downtown adventure, Minji, Daniel, and I went to check out the Holiday Fair in the Square.
Tanghulu
Churros
Custard bungeoppang
It was... disappointing. We dropped by to see what kind of sweet treats we could get, and though Minji picked up a couple boxes of baklava and Turkish delight to bring home, we only got some apple cider, a skewer of tanghulu, and a couple of churros. There were no funnel cakes, no cookies, no crazy holiday-themed hot chocolates. Maybe it's because we went on a Friday, but there were only about 10 food stalls in total, so I'm guessing they open way more stalls on Saturday and Sunday. Either way, we ended up having to make up for the lack of food variety by getting some custard bungeoppang up the street.
Sigh. This is what we get for not wanting to pay the admission fee for the Winter Village.
