Layover, in general, includes very mellow, sultry, R&B/soul-based tracks that are all easy to listen to — the exact type of music that V's smooth, deep, husky vocals are made for. Each song doesn't have a lot of lyrics but instead focuses on how V carries the words in the song with long instrumental segments. This is an EP of V's creativity and passion rather than commercial or radio success. This is the music you might hear in the background at a cafe or a romantic restaurant, or play at home while taking a bath or before going to bed — basically, when you want to unwind or relax — and it's beautiful. "Blue" is actually the most mellow of the six tracks on Layover but might actually be the sexiest.
On and on and on
And my love
On and on and on
Can we go?
On and on and on
And tomorrow
On and on and on
What if I show you
And make it all new
Green, yellow, red, blue
Whatever seems good to you
A day to the moon
Like borrowed stars
Everyone's looking at you
But, baby, you're all blue, blue
Blue, blue
Blue, blue
Blue, blue
Blue, blue, blue
Ah-ah, ah-ah, on and on and on
Ah-ah, ah-ah, on and on and on
These days
Deep sigh of relief
It's sinking me too
Tell me everything
So, swing my way, baby
And let me close you
And feel the world move
Fly away, fly away
Blue, blue
Blue, blue
Blue, blue
Blue, blue, blue
Blue, blue
Blue, blue
Blue, blue
Blue, blue, blue
Ah-ah, ah-ah, on and on and on
Ah-ah, ah-ah, on and on and on
But I have no idea what's going on in this video. Is that other guy stalking V or is V stalking him? Is he just looking for his dog? Did that other guy STEAL his dog? Whatever the case may be, that leather jacket looks amazing.
