Starting the long weekend off right with dessert for dinner with Ying, featuring two new summer offerings from Demetres:

Looking Pine Belgian Waffle
(Pineapple sorbet, brûléed banana, butter caramel sauce, and cinnamon streusel)

My Main Squeeze Liège Waffle
(Lemon meringue pie ice cream, lemon shortbread crumble, lemon curd sauce, and fresh blueberries)

Ooooof. The Looking Pine Belgian Waffle is excellent, but as a lemon dessert fiend, the My Main Squeeze Liège Waffle was just... legendary. Not sure why lemon meringue pie ice cream isn't a thing yet, but it's officially mandatory for me to get it again before summer's over.
