I knew that Yoongi was going to enlist soon because his solo tour was ending, but I didn't think it was going to be this soon — not even 24 hours after Agust D's last concert. (I'm not sure why I'm surprised as he literally did a livestream after the concert titled, "끝" or "End," during which he told us, "See you in 2025." For some reason, I thought he'd have a little more time.) Just as I got my emotions in check from yesterday, this news drops. I know there wasn't a lot of time left in his postponement — he turned 30 this year, after all — but the fact that he can't write, produce, or perform music for the next two years is especially heart-breaking to me knowing how much these things mean to him, and his breakdown during "Dear My Friend" yesterday really drives it home. 2025 cannot come soon enough.
