Our Express Passes for USJ included a Timed Entry Ticket for the Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge ride. (In Japan, Koopa is the Japanese name for Bowser.) This ride is housed in Koopa's Castle, which is nothing short of magnificent.

The ride itself is pretty damn cool. It's basically Mario Kart, but divided into two teams. All the riders are placed on Team Mario and the opponent is Team Koopa. You get AR visors shaped like Mario's hat and you get into four-person vehicles where each seat has AR lenses to fit into the visor. From there, you rotate your head around to aim a Koopa Shell to fire it at characters within the AR. (For the record, I did not get a good score, but at least I didn't come in last.) I don't know if I'd wait 3 hours to get on this ride, but it's definitely fun and interactive and true to the Mario Kart game. And even if you don't have fun, at least you get to walk through Koopa's Castle.
