After yesterday's hideous snow storm and the continual -15℃ temperature today, my mom and I went over to Jeon Ju Hyang for dinner because we absolutely refuse to cook this weekend.

The food was excellent and perfect for eating in subzero weather. (As we were chowing down on our piping hot stews, we were literally sweating from every pore.) The place is really small so it's always busy (I've been wanting to try this place for a couple months now, but it's always jam-packed every time we pass by it), but I can see why now. When you just want good traditional Korean food (not Korean fried chicken or Korean BBQ or Korean noodles, but just Korean food in general), there aren't actually that many great choices in Markham, so I'm ultra-delighted that Jeon Ju Hyang opened a location up here. (I also greatly appreciate the BTS posters on their walls and BTS playing on their stereo system.)
