Iris and I had stopped by Vaughan Mills on Saturday after the Jimin birthday event, and on a whim, we decided to step into Hot Topic because I know that they occasionally sell BTS or BT21 merch. And that's when I saw that they already had the Funko POP! BTS "Butter" figures in stock. I had pre-ordered them online in June, but Hot Topic is selling them for cheaper and I don't have to pay for shipping, so I cancelled the pre-order and bought the seven figures in store.

These mark the third official Funko POP! BTS figure collaboration, with "Dynamite" and "IDOL" preceding it. All seven figures come individually packaged in white and yellow boxes with clear cellophane windows in the front, and the back of the boxes have the "Butter" logo as well as all the figures included in the Funko POP! BTS "Butter" series. (There is also a set version in which all seven figures are packaged in a single long box, but this seems to be exclusive to the US.) Hot Topic is retailing these for $15.90 CAD each.
Whereas the TinyTAN "Butter" figures featured their black and yellow outfits from the MV, these Funko POP! ones feature them in their black and white suits from the criminal mugshot scene, complete with their personalized ID boards. There are some variances in hair colour from these figures and the TinyTAN ones: RM's hair is hot pink (almost coral) rather than pastel pink, Suga's hair is black rather than navy, and Jimin's hair is pastel rainbow-streaked (!!!) rather than blonde.
A lot of online retailers don't seem to have these available to buy yet (they were estimated to arrive for late October), so if you want them and happen to see them in store, grab them in person. I was really surprised to find them at Hot Topic already — I thought online retailers would definitely have had them first, but I checked Game Stop in person and they also didn't have them yet, so it seems like Hot Topic has dibs on them right now. And they're retailing them for the cheapest, too. So if you've never had a reason to go into Hot Topic before, you have one now! (You know, assuming you're interested in buying BTS Funko POP! figures. Because why else would you be reading this?)
