Treated my dad to Father's Day dim sum at Golden Palace for brunch today. Told him to pick whatever he wanted as long as there was har gow. His choices:
Steamed shrimp dumplings (har gow)
Deep-fried stuffed tofu and eggplant
Spicy steamed braised beef tendon
Beef noodle rolls
Pan-fried turnip patties with XO sauce
BBQ pork-stuffed pineapple buns
(There was also peppercorn beef congee and some stir-fried Chinese greens, but they weren't exciting enough for me to photograph. You know how it goes.)
