As per our 20-year family Christmas tradition, requiring absolutely no cooking or cleaning on our part, the Christmas dinner set at Maxim! Tonight's menu: Avocado apple potato salad with Kataifi shrimp, lobster bisque au cognac, rack of New Zealand spring lamb with pistachio crust and demi-glace, and an all-you-can-eat cake buffet of which I could only fit in one slice of strawberry-blueberry meringue cake (I, too, am ashamed of myself, as I used to be able to squeeze in at least another two slices...).
