I was running some errands with my mom today and upon deciding what to eat for dinner, my mom looked at me sheepishly and asked, "Should we get xiao long bao again?" And my response was, "I THOUGHT YOU'D NEVER ASK."

Pan-fried shredded turnip and minced pork pie
Thus, we got our precious pork soup dumplings, along with our favourite spicy braised beef with hand-pulled noodles in soup, stir-fried gai lan with beef, and a pan-fried shredded turnip and minced pork pie. We're obviously trying to make up for two years of not eating Shanghainese food. I think the craving will subside after 12 more orders of xiao long bao...
