Chris Martin: "Today has been one of the most fun days for me in the studio, ever. It's so different, and it's been very difficult to get here to Korea. We've been very lucky with people allowing us to come in for two days just to record, and it was quite a stressful journey, and I was a little nervous here. I'd never met BTS before. So today has just been, like, everything I could've dreamed, but a little better."

J-Hope: "I can't believe that he's really the Coldplay I know, who goes, 'Whoaaa-oh-oh' on stage! That he's really Chris Martin!"

Jungkook: "To me, he's like, the king of stadium tours."

V: "He was my role model at some point. He had such a great influence on me."

Jin: "Hearing such a big celebrity like him agree to collaborate with us, I thought, 'Oh, what do I do?' I was fascinated that such a celebrity was willing to work with us."

Suga: "Many of their songs have become part of modern culture. They also had a concert in Korea about five years ago."

RM: "I was actually curious what he'd be like. Just as I've heard, he's humble, down-to-earth, and pure in heart. He doesn't seem to hold any kind of prejudice."

Jimin: "He's beyond just a legendary singer. He impacts others for the better with his positive mindset. He's so admirable."

Chris Martin: "I think it's very special to me that the most popular artist in the world speaks Korean and is, like, a group of brothers, not from the West. And it just feels very hopeful to me in terms of thinking of the world as one family. Then, of course, when you see who they are as people and their songs, it's really a message of togetherness and finding, being yourself. All the stuff I agree with."

Chris Martin: "Well, the song is about how the power of love transcends all things — borders and rules and genders and race and every sexuality. If you look at people right now who are divided by a border or can't be together — that's what the song is about. About how nothing can really stop people loving each other."

Jungkook: "I saw Chris Martin close his eyes and sing along with such a happy smile... It was a genuine look that came from his heart."

I love how genuine, sincere, respectful, and wholesome this friendship is. They're just radiating pure joy and happiness together. I'm in love with this love.
