Vanilla-mango soft serve in a cone from Butter Baker
Day #1 of vacation: Ying and I went to get the vanilla-mango swirl soft serve (with a big chunk of fresh mango on top!) from
Butter Baker that is currently the darling of the Toronto foodie scene. (Thanks to my ice-cream-partner-in-crime, Ying, for being my hand model. And for always being down to get ice cream.) Is it worth the hype? Yep. Does it get incredibly messy in the 30°C heat and drip
everywhere (hands, clothes, shoes, in the car, etc.)? Yep. Is it still worth it? Yep. It is possibly
the perfect summer dessert. The soft serve is available in cups, but why would you get a cup when they make delicious freshly-made waffle cones? (That's right, you wouldn't, because it would be a rookie mistake.) I will have to go back again to get another one before my vacation ends because this vanilla-mango delight is only available until the end of June. (But I can't wait to see what flavours they'll have in store for us next!)
