Our legends just became more legendary with this performance of "Dynamite," for which they rented out an entire fucking terminal at Incheon International Airport and got an entirely POC virtual live band to play a funky, big band remix of the song. (The cities of their Map of the Soul Tour scrolling in the background at the end there was an especially nice touch. 🥺) 100%, this was the highlight of the BBMAs this year, and I would say that even if I wasn't BTS-biased. The rest of the show was overwhelmingly underwhelming. Also, I've said this before and I've said it again, thank BigHit for their film team for capturing all of BTS' performances. We definitely can't rely on greedy American broadcasting companies to release this content for free (who also copyright every video of award show content so no one can re-watch performances or watch them for the first time if they missed the original broadcast).
Oh, and congratulations to BTS for winning Top Social Artist for the 4th year in a row!
