I decided on Araya Sushi for this evening's dinner delivery because I haven't been there since February and, wow, the craving was real today. I knew I was going to get the hae dup bap (sometimes you just need a spicy raw fish salad rice bowl), but then also decided that my meal wouldn't be complete without a sushi roll, so I got the signature Araya Roll — shrimp tempura, avocado, crabmeat, cucumber, and smoked salmon, topped with seared salmon and scallop, onion cream sauce, chili oil, and green onion — which might actually be my new favourite roll. I know, them some fighting words, but it just has everything I want in a sushi roll: crunch, spice, freshness, and intense flavours. Most importantly, the combination is unlike anything I've ever had before — quite a feat in a city over-populated with sushi restaurants. And, hey, it's the size of my arm, so it's basically two meals. WORTH IT.
