My BTS + Starbucks merch finally arrived from Jaewon today. This partnership between BTS and Starbucks launched the "Be the Brightest Stars" campaign, which included limited edition food, drink, and merchandise, sold exclusively in South Korea from January 21 to February 6. A portion of the profits from the campaign went toward career and educational development programs for disadvantaged young people through the Beautiful Foundation, a prominent non-profit organization in South Korea.

About a week before release, I asked Jaewon if he'd be able to grab me a bunch of stuff from this collection and he told me he'd try his best. Knowing it would sell out really fast, he went to his local Starbucks at 6:00AM on the day of launch and managed to be one of the first few people in line, so he actually ended up being able to get me everything I asked for (and even included paper bags and cup sleeves!). Aside from helping out a good cause, the merch is also just really pretty. So pretty, in fact, that 80% of the total merchandise distributed throughout all of South Korea was sold out within the first 24 hours. Now imagine the impact this type of campaign could make if BTS partnered up with Starbucks in North America.
