Did you think we were only going to go to one? C'mon now, we ain't rookies to the BTS birthday game. Ying and I headed down to Bloom Cafe for a second J-Hope birthday cafe event because we are celebrating our beloved Hobi all weekend long (as he deserves). We got there about 30 minutes before opening and there was already quite a long line-up out the door, but at least it was milder today so lining up outside wasn't too torturous.
Once we got in, we ordered a cafe latte (for me) and an Earl Grey tea (for Ying) to get the adorable Hope World-themed cup sleeves, and of course, we got some desserts to share. We decided to get the strawberry tart again and added a yuzu tart this time — they're both excellent, but the yuzu tart is particularly refreshing and not too sweet, so I do prefer it slightly over the strawberry.
The space was decorated to the nines with J-Hope decor, of course, and BTS songs were blasting on the stereo (as it should be at all establishments), and several super-nice ARMYs were giving out gift packs and photocards so we hauled quite a lot of freebies. Saw some familiar faces and chatted briefly with them as well, and had an overall delightful morning with fellow Toronto ARMYs! Thank you so much to Stef for hosting and organizing this massive two-day event for our Piece of Peace! Happy (early) J-Hope Day!
