Did you think we were just gonna stop at three? NO, 'CAUSE WE AIN'T NO ROOKIES.
Ying and I ended up making it to four BTS Taehyung global birthday cafe events this weekend (some say ridiculous, we say dedicated) because we celebrate BTS birthdays more than our own. This event was at Hey Sugar, hosted by Alisha and partnered with RMT Photographs. (If you're wondering why I've attended so many birthday events for Tae and not the other members, it's because this is the first time in 15 years that I've had the holidays off and I actually have time now.) It was cold and gloomy, but we persevered through the crazy winds and rain because IT'S BTS.
We opted for hot Lemon Citron Teas because a) we couldn't feel our hands or faces, and b) I have a cold and need all the Vitamin C I can get. (Probably not smart to walk through cold rain while I have a cold, but whatever, I'M ALREADY SICK.) We got our cup sleeves and photocards by RMT Photographs for our drinks, and then some extra photocards from a couple of super-nice ARMYs who had them printed on their own just to give out at these events. Of course, it was decorated beautifully as most of these BTS cafe events are, including the requisite massive letter balloons, huge photo collages, and cup sleeve pyramid. This one even had a huge hanging ball chair full of Tata plushes. Truly, it always amazes me to see how much time and effort goes into one of these events, and I'm so appreciative that there are so many dedicated ARMY hosts who do this out of their own love without asking for anything back.
And since it's now December 30 on this side of the world, HAPPY (ACTUAL) TAEHYUNG DAY!
