FINALLY. After some production issues caused a big delay in shipment, the limited edition BTS 花樣年華 The Most Beautiful Moment in Life ART TOY set I ordered nearly two months ago finally arrived today! The set features toy figures of all seven members in their roles in the Love Yourself Highlight Reel (proof that BTS could easily transition into dramas if they wanted to), which is apart of the Bangtan Universe that started in The Most Beautiful Moment in Life era. It comes with a diorama of the bus stop scene that is seen in the Highlight Reel to be used as the background for the figures. The set comes with sticker packs for all seven members and, of course, since it's BTS merchandise, it also comes with premium photocards of the boys from the Highlight Reel as their characters (because is it really official BTS merch if there's no photocards?). The set now sits proudly on top of my newly-built BTS shelving unit. I've become a full-fledged toy collector now, and there's no going back.
Of all your collectibles, this one is the best. Better than the Army Bomb or BT21 Shooky hairband. I think it is because my friend Spewgie and I were in charge of setting up the court for Girls' Day at grandmother's and the crèches for Christmas. Making certain all the dolls were in their proper places.
ReplyDeleteFor my first Christmas tree I went into the kitchen to get the garlands of popcorn and cranberries I'd threaded to put on the finishing touch. You know how black cats are good luck? Rosemary climbed to the top of the tree and I watched in horror as it described a wobbly spiral and fell crashing to the floor. Sometime during this Myrtle sneaked into the nativity and bit off Baby Jesus' head. Right from the manger.
So. My advice to you: If you get a cat, do not let her anywhere near your BTS shrine. Especially Jimin. (Umbrella.)
This is one of my favourite collectibles as well, though perhaps for different reasons. ;) For me, it's the story and the concept behind the toys that make them more meaningful than, say, my BT21 figures or even the ARMY Bomb (which I do really love). The story of The Most Beautiful Moment in Life is truly a masterpiece.
DeleteLOL, I will definitely heed your advice, though the chances of me getting a cat are slim to none at this point. (Partially because of superstitions, but mostly because I'm never home to take care of a pet.)
