Last Friday, the Uniqlo x BT21 graphic tee collaboration was released, and even though I live about ten minutes away from a Uniqlo, I ordered online anyway, mostly because I had work on Friday, but partially because the collection was going to sell out fast and I wanted to avoid line-ups in-store (there is always a line-up at Uniqlo, regardless of time and day). I coincidentally decided to check if the collab was going to be released online first on Friday, so I went on the site at 3:00 AM, and discovered that everything was already up for sale, so I had no problems getting the styles or size I wanted (the perks of being nocturnal?). Anyway, my package arrived on Monday, but because I didn't check the tracking number, I didn't realize that it had been sitting in my community mailbox for three days. (Also, wow, Uniqlo has fast shipping, for real. Like, why even bother going in store these days?) As you can see, I basically just picked up all the dark-coloured shirts because my emo aesthetic has not changed. And at $14.90 a pop, these might actually be the cheapest BT21 clothes ever made in an official capacity. Bless Uniqlo for keeping all their high profile collaborations at the same affordable level as their regular clothing.
