Finally got around to trying MABU Generation tonight with Maegan and Jason. They've had a huge wait line every time I've passed by it so we always ended up going somewhere else in the First Markham Place plaza. But we went around 8:30 PM tonight, and though it was busy, we didn't actually have to wait for a table. (It helps that it's fucking cold out tonight; people just wanna stay at home.) Anyway, everything we tried tonight was good, though the beef in my rice bowl was a little too chewy and tendon-y for my liking. I do think, however, I will go back to try some more of the izakaya items they have, and also the Taiwanese mini hot pot, and also the vast array of desserts that they have... So, I'll have to go back at least three times to get a real gauge of the place... You know, to give it a true assessment.
