It's about 2:00 AM, and I just got back home from watching BTS World Tour: Love Yourself in Seoul and it has only made me more wistful to see them in concert again. The audience was, for the most part, really nice and respectable, too. No crazy obnoxious people, no screaming or talking loudly. Everyone was enraptured with the concert film, cheering and clapping when appropriate, quietly singing along to the songs. I only saw one person who brought their ARMY Bomb, but she was diligently waving it even though no one else brought one. All in all, it was a really good time. My only qualm was that they didn't include the ments (when the boys greet and converse with us at the beginning, middle, and end of the show) or the VCRs (the little segue videos in between the major sections of the concert to introduce the next theme — for the Love Yourself tour, they divided the songs in a way that represented each stage of the Love Yourself albums, from happiness to depression to self-actualization, so it shows a natural progression of their emotions in the two-hour live performance — and also gives the boys time to get changed into their next stage outfits). It made it seem like each song was a different clip, so the film didn't flow as smoothly as a live concert actually would. Not sure why they wanted to cut out these parts, 'cause I find them to be such vital aspects of their live shows. Plus, they did all the subtitling for the songs, anyway, so it couldn't be because they didn't want to translate the ments. I do hope they'll release it on DVD at some point, though, like they did with the Wings tour in Seoul. I need to re-live this tour with full close-ups of the boys. In HD.
