This week's Monday Poll:
- Iced tea or iced coffee? I honestly like both equally, but my consumption of either depends on the time of day. I drink iced coffee every morning (except for winter, when I drink coffee hot), but iced tea is my go-to drink during the rest of the day, whether it's strawberry lychee green tea from Ten Ren's or Passion Tango Tea Lemonade from Starbucks or just good ol' Nestea with lemon.
Also, for the longest time, I didn't know there was a difference between iced tea and sweet tea in the US. In Canada, iced tea is almost always sweetened unless a barista is making it customized; plain tea would be marketed as unsweetened tea.
- Have you ever had a black cat? I've never owned a cat, period. But my cousin Janetta has a black cat and I watched that cat grow up from a couple-weeks-old kitten.
- What was the last piece of thought-provoking literature you read? Honestly, I've been reading a lot of fluffy YA novels recently, so... nothing particularly thought-provoking as of late. I did, however, watch To the Bone on Netflix last night and I'm still thinking about it, so regardless of whether you appreciate the acting, plot, or subject matter, it is a thought-provoking film.
- Winged liner or false lashes? Winged liner, hands down.
- With whom would you like to go on a road trip? My friend Ronsee. He's funny and easygoing, a safe but efficient driver, and we have good conversations. We've been on road trips before, so I know he's a good travel buddy.
