This week's Friday Five:
  1. What's your favourite monster movie? Monsters, Inc., obviously. But if that doesn't count as a "real" monster movie (although it should, 'cause hi, there are monsters in it), then I'd say Pan's Labyrinth.

  2. What's your favourite social issues movie? American History X.

  3. What's a movie you dislike in a genre you love? I usually quite enjoy chick flicks and rom coms, but Valentine's Day was terrible.

  4. What's a movie you like in a genre you dislike? I don't usually like horror movies, but I watched Get Out a couple weeks ago and thought it was really well done: good pacing, unexpected plot twists, and thought-provoking.

  5. What's a movie everyone else has seen but you have not seen? The Godfather.
