This week's Friday Five:
- What TV series have you watched every episode of? Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls, Sex and the City, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls, Chuck, Doogie Howser, M.D., The O.C., Pushing Daisies, Popular, Freaks and Geeks.
- What are your favourite instrumental and vocal TV theme songs? "We Used to Be Friends" by the Dandy Warhols (Veronica Mars), "Where You Lead" by Carole King and Louise Goffin (Gilmore Girls), "California" by Phantom Planet (The O.C.), and "Yo Home to Bel-Air" by The Fresh Prince (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air).
- What's a TV series you stuck with even when it got bad? Gilmore Girls, The O.C., and Chuck.
- What supporting TV character would you like to have seen featured in his or her own spinoff? If you're feeling creative, what would be the premise of that series? Jess from Gilmore Girls. The WB had actually planned to do a spinoff for him called "Windward Circle," but they canceled it before it aired due to high production costs. But it would've been cool to see what happened to him after leaving Stars Hollow.
- What is the single funniest moment on TV you have ever seen? From It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia in the episode, "Sweet Dee's Dating a Retarded Person" (Season 3):
I think a Paris spinoff of Gilmore Girls would have been great. But then I have a thing for Paris. <3
ReplyDeleteI've always thought Paris was too high strung so I don't think I would've watched a Paris spin-off 'cause she gave me too much anxiety, lol. But Jess was that brooding, mysterious bad boy with a chip on his shoulder, and I think it would've been more interesting to see how his character evolves. And I also thought he was super hot, so I might be biased, lol!
