Calling all blush fiends — this collection is for you! Here's six brand-new, gorgeously soft, finely-milled, silky, ultra-pigmented blushes for you to play with. While What I Fancy and Spring Flock are geared more towards fair to medium skintones and are ultra-wearable Spring pinks (read: fresh and peppy), the other four shades are definitely designed for darker complexions in mind, or for those who just love an intensely bright blush (read: clown cheeks) in general. For those who want a pop of colour but not in-your-face vibrancy, have no fear — these are very blendable and are easily muted when buffed in with a highlighter, skin finisher, or Beauty Powder. After winter collections of muted neutrals for cheeks, it's about time for some fun brights, and Flamingo Park definitely delivers.
I don't need any blushes, but these are just so cheerful to look at!
ReplyDeleteLol, totally fair. Although those bright colours are a lot easier to wear than one might expect! I buffed out Let's Be Friends yesterday with Pearl Blossom Beauty Powder and it just looked so fun and peppy but not over the top. :)
DeleteAhhhhhh, these are so fucking pretty I CAN'T. LOL
ReplyDeleteI had to stop and gawk at the MAC display yesterday. Last year me would have bought like all of them. Thankfully I conducted a blush estimate (it's a thing) and I think I don't need to buy a blush for at least 10 years.
LMAO, I was totally thinking of you when I first saw this collection, like, "Sigh, the old blush fiend Liz would've gone apeshit for these..." LOL.
DeleteAnd you're probably right. I don't need to buy a blush for at least... eight lifetimes.
I loved your explanations. My "Fleur power" finished over and now I am in doubt... Which these are more similar to "Fleur power"?
ReplyDeleteI would say Spring Flock is the most similar to Fleur Power. :)
DeleteI bought the "Let's be Friends" by Internet. It is too cool for me... I Still prefer Fleur Power. :(
