NYC — Spring 2012: Ferrara Bakery & Café

If you're in New York, and you really, really want cannoli but you don't want to leave Manhattan, look no further than Ferrara in Little Italy. I'm no expert at cannoli, so I really can't tell you if this is the best one or not because that's really subjective, but if the constant packed house and long line-ups are any indication, this place has some damn good pastries. They offer many treats, but most people come here for cannoli — you just can't go wrong with a deep-fried pastry shell filled with sweet ricotta cream. They come in two sizes, as well as regular shells and chocolate shells. I'm partial to the regular shells, but both of them are ridiculously good. They're super addictive, though, so be careful because they're probably about a bajillion calories each and you're going to want more than one. Question now, where can I get cannoli in Toronto?

  1. I've never really had an amazing cannoli but I'm not a huge fan of fried pastry. But if there's a long line up for good food, I'll find myself in the line eventually. :D

    1. HOW ARE YOU NOT A FAN OF FRIED PASTRY? FUNNEL CAKES? C'MON!

      My heart? BROKEN.

You need to find a good cannoli, it will change your non-fried pastry-eating ways...
